When it comes to supplying a wide range of cold formed steel tubes and hollow sections quickly, we have come a long way.

Today Tubecon manufactures steel tube, pipe and hollow sections in many shapes and sizes. Tubecon cold forms steel tubes from hot rolled or cold rolled material and supply to the South African market.

Steel tube dimensions from as small as 12x0.7mm to as large as 165x6mm directly from mill. Tubecon also stock sizes larger than 165mm. With our draw benches we stretch this range, going down to tube dimensions as small as 6mm and as high as 300mm on OD. In terms of delivery speed, generally supplying standard steel tube or hollow section the following day is no problem. On custom steel rolled sections a few days to a week is achievable. We always try to keep delivery times of any steel section, below 2 weeks.

Tubecon started off by supplying mild steel tubes, punched lip and open channels and application specific tubes including conveyor and lancing tubes. We have since grown and increased our production line with manufacturing these and other products in Z275 pre-galvanised steel, Z450 and 3CR12 materials.

We supply our steel tubes, conduit, lip channels and profiles to the South African market. With branches in Pretoria, Gauteng and Cape Town, Western Cape we are able to cover a large geographic area with short lead times. These branches ensure the regular supply of steel tubes, hollow sections and open profiles to areas such as Durban, Bloemfontein and Limpopo.

Tubecon also supplies to areas in Southern Africa including Namibia, Botswana, and Mozambique.
