Cold Forming Hot Rolled and Cold Rolled Steel Grades

Tubecon manufactures tubing from a variety of hot rolled and cold rolled steel grades. Most grades are common mild steels but high strength materials and lightly alloyed materials are also possible.

The tables below will give you an overview of the properties of some common steel grades used by Tubecon in the manufacturing of cold formed hollow sections and open sections. The material grades are according to the SANS specification.
